Each child has fun while learning objectives such as sign language, body part identification and finger puppet games. They have fun exploring colors and shapes in various arts and crafts projects. The students play and learn together as they rotate through academic centers while learning to follow procedures of the classroom. Potty training is also an objective presented in a non-pressure manner to encourage students. Our PreK2 class gets to develop its gross motor skills as they learn to run, jump, kick a ball and stand on tiptoes! Bible lessons are taught every week that focus on showing God’s love to our friends and family. This class uses Handwriting Without Tears for phonics and Horizons Preschool curriculum for math, social studies, science and Bible.
