Gathered in the name of Jesus Christ, First Presbyterian Church seeks to be a community of faith, hope, love, and witness. As a community of faith, we entrust ourselves to God alone to provide and guide us in ministry. As a community of hope, we rejoice in the sure and certain knowledge that, in Christ, God is making a new creation; a new beginning for human life and for all things. As a community of love, we seek forgiveness of our sin, reconcile with one another, and work to tear down barriers that divide us. As a community of witness, we strive to create a congregation that is an exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.
